Hi!  This is Asst. Editor of the book Chris Carpenter.  Since there isn't an issue out yet and the story hasn't started for the fans yet I thought I would just hop in here and speak a bit.  This project is very exciting for us and we look forward to hearing what you all think about it!  Feel free to check out the previews below and read through them and check out the art.  This is a very intense story that is sure to catch the attention of Horror, specifically fans of psychological horror!

You know how most horror stories, movies or whatever make you feel like "well, as long as I don't go to that specific place or do this specific thing then why should I be afraid of that?"  Well, trust me, that isn't your out in being afraid from this story.  It will put you in the drivers seat with our main character Lisa.  You will meet a pretty vibrant cast from issue 1 without being bogged down from characters at the same time.

Keep an eye out though, you never know what in the story is clues or just mindless rants....or is everyone involved just crazy.  I guess you will just have to pick up the book and see.

Title: House At The Edge Of Nowhere
Publisher: Bloodfire Studios
Writer: Jamison Kasian
Penciler: Dwayne Biddix
Inker: Jeff Dabu
Price: $ 2.99 US
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Comments: The colors are vivid and so is the art. The art stands out and grabs your attention right from page one. Its easy to tell as well from the story that something is off.
As Lisa wonders through a snow storm she finds a house. Now inside it is not a normal house. As we see the occupants the horror starts to build.
The way Lisa's sweater looks like a straight jacket when she crosses her arms is a nice touch. The little writings throughout the house add to the setting. The whole house itself is something out of a developing nightmare.
The suspense does build throughout. There are enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. There is a lot more going on here than is on the surface.
The characters Lisa and the gentleman she encounters are both grab your attention type of characters. Lisa from her visions or memories is a troubled woman.
This comic will make you think. Just what it makes you think might give you nightmares.       -Richard Vasseur-Jazma Online

Title: House At The Edge Of Nowhere # 2
Publisher: Bloodfire Studios
Writer: Jamison Kasian
Penciler: Dwayne Biddix
Inker: Jeff Dabu
Price: $ 2.99 US
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Comments: Lisa is a young woman who has had a rough life. But she has stood up for herself and fought back against those that have treated her wrong.
This House has a past as well. It is filled with evil just waiting to exert itself on others.
The art is gorgeous in the way it shows off this house of evil and the people are drawn human looking but with glints of the house's evil possessing them. The drawing of the evil personified is magnificant.
The build up throughout the story is intense. It will not only have you on the edge of your seat but trembling with anticipation for what is to come.
Lisa the victim shows that she has it within her to reverse her situation. Or is that the influence from the house or both. Just how innocent is she really? The story does leave you guessing.
The story and art with the way they are presented make this comic feel like you are watching a horror movie.
If you want something a lot different from the usual fare in comics you have found it and it may not let you go!

Girl is paying a visit to someone and crashes in the middle of nowhere having seen a ghost.

The House At The Edge of Nowhere is a new horror comic from small publisher Bloodfire Studios.

It relies very heavily on the pictures to tell the story and it's a good choice because in my opinion the artwork is superior to the text in pretty much every respect.

Unfortunately, I only got sent the first 11 pages, so I found it difficult to really appreciate the full story here. Once I'd reached the end it was just getting started....

But based on what I did see, there should be respect to the artists who have managed to superbly put the reader straight into the action and depicted strong feelings within each panel. There are similarities with famous cinematography in terms of composition and camera angle and I thought the depiction of the near death/unconscious experience was particularly well captured in a very clever yet simple way.

As I said, I can only base my opinions on the first 11 pages and it ended just as I started getting into it...but the artwork was clever, clean and well-composed, at least.  Preview gets a 6 out of 10!                                     -Sarah Carter, Comics Village
