If your eyes have drifted down to here you must be interested in how Hard Way Studios came into being. Well, I'll tell you.

The Hard road began with the studio's founding members, Dwayne Biddix and Chris Carpenter. Both wanted to get into comics but being in a small town in North Carolina with NO comic shops it was very hard to find their way into the industry. After a lot of submissions and a few convention trips they began to submit to some small publishers, which lead to a lot of work that never saw the light of day. The dynamic duo decided to do a book themselves and THE SHELTER comic and the studio Hard Way was born. The book was hideous. The idea of a studio had promise. They decided to expand the studio and connect with other talented people to create new comics to pitch to publishers to bring their comics to the world.

The studio has grown amazingly since then. As co-founder Dwayne Biddix said as to why they began the studio he gave his favorite quote,

"A million times being told no will not change your life, but being told yes once will."

The studio has changed his life as it has Chris and indeed all members. The original members can not express how thankful they are for how well the studio has gone. And they can not thank the members of the studio who has done such amazing work and gave so much to make the studio what it is now. Co-founder Chris Carpenter said,

"I can not wait to see where the studio is going! With the success we have had so far we can only go higher!"

We hope you will join us on that rise. Thank you for your time and interest.
