Hi Everyone, i'm Javi Laparra, I’m from Guatemala C.A, I am 26 years old, and I’m a colorist…
I’m have been in love with comic books since the first time I saw one!! Too many years ago don’t remember exactly, but that was the moment I decided to look up info about them, and sadly here in Guatemala we do not have that comic culture, so it was kind of hard to get them, or to know more about the making of…so I decided to draw and color my own heroes and because of that decided to get into the School of art here in my country, and in those 5 years working there never found info about comics but they gave the basics for the painting using for example Oil, Watercolors, Acrylic, Crayons and so on…. Finishing the School I found the great advantages of using Photoshop and other cool software.
Later on reading lots of tutorials on the internet learned some clues and tips, and that’s how I have been working and practicing a lot…
Think that’s all I have to say about what I do, i'm not really good at writing, that’s why you may find this a lit bit short, but anyway my work has it's own voice so lets see what happens….
